Since embarking on their Net Zero journey in 2023, the company has focused on future-proofing their business and creating economic value through sustainable practices. Anna will discuss the challenges and successes of balancing cost and carbon, driven by the increasing demand for transparency and sustainability from their customers. She will also talk about how Lochcarron of Scotland increased their bottom line through energy efficiency, using renewable energy sources

Anna Hinnigan has over 30 years of experience working for Scottish companies in the fast-paced textiles and fashion sector with international luxury brands. A science graduate of Heriot-Watt University, School of Textiles and Design, her career includes roles in quality assurance, product development, and production management for companies including Pringle of Scotland and Johnstons of Elgin. She joined Lochcarron of Scotland in 2019 as the Senior Operations Manager and is based in the Scottish Borders.
