Sam will outline how the company’s focus on outstanding customer-service, a hyper-local approach and an executive-level commitment to creating long-lasting impact in communities have made the company one of the fastest-growing in Scotland.

On the day we will also present the Purpose in Business Guide, a practical guide to support SMEs at every stage of their purpose journey.

About GoFibre

GoFibre‘s mission is to bring the best connectivity to rural and hard-to-reach areas of Scotland and the north of England. Founded in the Borders in 2017, GoFibre is the first company to complete a government-backed Project Gigabit contract in the UK, bringing full fibre broadband to thousands of homes in the north of England, and has embarked on the first and the biggest, Project Gigabit contracts awarded  in Scotland. The company has also won multiple awards this year, including ninth fastest-growing company in Scotland from the Fast Growth Index and Best Scottish Broadband Provider (Broadband Genie).

Sam Calvert

Sam Calvert is Chief Revenue Officer at GoFibre, Scottish independent broadband builder and provider, headquartered in Edinburgh. In his four years with GoFibre, he has built the business from less than 500 customers to over 20,000. Sam helped lead the winning bids for four multi-million-pound network projects and contributed to raising £125m in debt funding for network expansion during 2025. Sam has a long career history in telecoms and held senior roles at BT and Plusnet prior to joining GoFibre. He was named Inspirational Marketing Leader of the Year in 2023 by The Marketing Society Scotland.
