Network, Lunch & Learn: Shaping Culture for Business Resilience

12:15pm
UWS Ayr Campus
Ayr

Open to All, Peer Works

Join us in Ayr for an engaging mix of networking and peer-to-peer learning focused on culture and employee engagement, where we will explore strategies for maximising productivity and long-term resilience.

“Culture is the stabiliser that allows organisations to pivot without losing themselves or their people.”

The pace of change facing organisations continues to accelerate, requiring leaders to think differently about how culture supports performance and long-term resilience.

Join us in Ayr for an engaging mix of networking and peer-to-peer learning focused on culture and employee engagement, where we will explore strategies for maximising productivity and long-term resilience.

In partnership with the University of the West of Scotland and the Federation of Small Businesses Scotland, this event will feature a case study from Booth Welsh – an employee-owned engineering and technology business.

Aimee Doole, People, Brand & Culture Director, along with her team will present Booth Welsh’s journey  in shaping culture over time, aligning values, behaviours and ways of working as the business has grown and evolved. She will share practical lessons around engagement, decision-making and adaptability, and she will reflect on how a clear, values-led culture can help organisations navigate change and remain resilient in increasingly complex environments.

Whether you’re an employer or employee, this is a great opportunity to connect, learn, and take away actionable insights.

Agenda:

12.15 Registrations & Networking Lunch
13.00 Welcome
13.05 Booth Welsh presentation
13.35 Q&A

Aimee Doole is People, Brand & Culture Director at Booth Welsh, an employee-owned engineering and technology business based in Scotland. With over a decade in the organisation, alongside her team, Aimee leads the integration of people strategy, culture, brand and purpose, supporting sustainable growth and keeping people engaged as the business evolves. She is particularly interested in how clear values and an intentional approach to culture help organisations navigate change, make good decisions and remain resilient over the long term.
