Join us for a lunch and learn session to drive productivity within your business

This event is delivered in partnership with the Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc.

Speakers: Gill Simpson, Marketing and Communications Director, Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc; Jamie Duffy, Director, Tronius Ltd.

The emerging revolution of Industry 5.0 sees businesses using technology to enhance workplace processes and increase business resilience whilst respecting our people and planet.

Automating processes can help to free up time for innovative thinking and allow time to deliver improved value-based services. It would also allow workers to become more agile and flexible in their workplace approach.

But how can we get organisations to embrace this new concept going forward?

In this session we will hear from organisations that have adopted this new approach. We will hear their stories of how innovation and digital transformation have inspired performance and boosted productivity.

Whether you are new to this concept or are already welcoming new technologies within your business, we hope that these events will allow you to come together with other businesses and share ideas and new ways of thinking about business processes.

We will hear from Jamie Duffy, Director, Tronius Innovation in Business winner at Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2022 about Tronius innovation journey. We will also hear from Gill Simpson, Comms & Marketing Director at MSIP about their support to businesses.

Gill graduated with a MA Business Management (Hons) from the University of St Andrews in 2007. Upon graduation, Gill joined Scottish Enterprise and spent the next 13 years there in a variety of roles to grow both the local and national economy. In 2018 Gill joined a small team focused on establishing Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc and left Scottish Enterprise in 2020 to take up a permanent position at MSIP, leading on Marketing and Communications. Gill is passionate about Dundee and making it the best place to live and work and believes MSIP is the right place to be to make that happen.
