Future Proof Learning

David Maltman, Director of Future Proof Learning, has attended numerous Peer Works sessions and events since 2019 and considers every event to have been worthwhile.

For David personally and for his work with clients, productivity means making progress on the few things that are important to you, progressing things that matter. In terms of business productivity it’s more about getting things done efficiently but not at any cost. Holding both of these definitions in mind David considers he takes away something worthwhile from every event that can be applied either internally to the business or to develop the people focused services they deliver to clients.

Meeting and hearing about different organisations and the challenges that they face is another reason that David attends events. For his business authenticity is an important concept and he describes how Peer Works events feel very authentic, facilitating real conversations and connections with people who are genuinely interested in each other. He praises Prosper’s client management and facilitation skills in achieving this.

David sees Peer Works events as being valuable to companies and organisations across all sectors with the topics being interesting whether or not they apply directly to your business. He has taken action points away from speakers and topics; as a result of a session relating to Living Wage, Future Proof Learning is now an Accredited Living Wage Employer.

“Peers Works events have a sense of generosity, they bring together genuine people who are interested in learning and making new connections. It does not matter what sector you are in, you’ll always take away something worthwhile and practical that you can apply to your business.”
