G5 Technologies is a long-established IT Managed Services Provider supporting small and medium sized businesses across the UK, focusing on providing reliable, efficient and secure IT systems for its clients.

George Blyth, Sales Manager for G5 Technologies, has attended many Peer Works events on behalf of the business and sees productivity as: “the ability to use the right tools and business methodologies to win new customers, deliver a high-quality service and remain competitive in the market”.

He views Peer Works as an opportunity to broaden his thinking beyond his day-to-day work. After each event, George feeds insights back to the company director, often sparking discussions about how the business can adapt or improve. One notable example came from a session on health and wellbeing. He shared the learning, which led directly to the introduction of subsidised gym memberships, a change that reflected the company’s commitment to maintaining a positive and healthy team culture. He feels these changes have improved staff morale, with employees feeling more secure and motivated.

Over time, Peer Works has influenced a number of decisions within the business, including the adoption of new technology systems, the introduction of AI and automation tools and involving employees more actively in decision-making. These developments have helped streamline operations and given the company the capacity to grow its customer base as it looks ahead to scaling over the next five to six years.
