Nimbus Blue

Nimbus Blue is an IT support and cybersecurity company, offering a range of services including managed IT support, cybersecurity solutions and cloud solutions, with a focus on customer service and building relationships. 

Founder David Tawse has attended a number of Peer Works events and believes they are unlike other networking events, which he describes as “typically more formal”. He has gained a lot from the events and likes the “intimate nature of them”, believing that this makes them more applicable, as there is a more open discussion format that allows attendees to dig into more specific topics that are useful, “going beyond the original topic”. 

David defines productivity as: 

“An umbrella term that covers effectiveness of the business finance, culture, customer satisfaction and service growth offering.” 

David recalls a particularly memorable Peer Works event on The Psychology of Team Management and Understanding Team Dynamics. Following this session was a talk by the Managing Director of a marketing agency who had already implemented many of the theories discussed, which David felt “added real value”. 

David arranged a one‑to‑one follow‑up with that speaker to understand more about implementing an incentive scheme across the organisation, recognising everyone in the team (not just sales roles). 

This is something David has now implemented and, as a result: 

“It has helped pull the team together, giving confidence that the team are more aligned on the overall goals and direction of travel. We are all rowing in the same direction. It has also improved motivation within the team which means we are making progress faster.” 

David commends Peer Works as an effective tool for supporting small and medium‑sized organisations in improving their leadership performance and has seen this through the events he has attended.
